Sometimes a girl just has to get the hell out of Dodge – leave the half packed boxes in the family room and the list of too many things to do on the kitchen counter and hit the beach. There is something about wind in your hair, sun in your eyes and the sound of the surf that calms the mind. Endless waves don’t care if it’s Sunday or moving day they show up on the shore like clockwork – advance, retreat and repeat – every day since the beginning of time.
I’ve been walking the beach, kicking stones, picking up shells and contemplating.Lately I’ve been so focused on the task at hand, so lost in yesterdays, I’ve lost sight of the grand picture. I needed this today to put things into perspective.I needed to be reminded that a new yesterday is introduced every night, a new tomorrow is on the horizon every morning, we only get one today. This day, this minute, is as unique as the beach between waves.
Holy wow….. your words are magical!
Take a breath – enjoy xx

I hear you! You know the old saying, ” you can’t see the forest for the trees”. It is so true. We get caught up in the overwhelming task of life and it’s living that we forget to pause, take that moment to stop and see the forest before us. So glad that you are taking that time to kick the stones and breath in the air. Nature is the one thing that grounds us completely. So many times we don’t give it the credit it deserves. Kick a stone or two for me. I’m thinking of you big time; Love to you and a great big HUG.
